You will notice growing shoots coming from the top of your plant a new shoot will begin growing after each internode. Take a razor blade and cut off the growing shoot at the top of the plant. This will result in two new growing shoots coming out in a ‘V’ shape. and your plant will begin to bush out. You may to the plants as many times as you like each time you top a growing shoot two new shoots will take its place. Each time you top you will be increasing the number of budding sites at harvest of the cannabis seeds. Topping should be done at an early stage when the plant is about 4″ - 6″ tall. Never top your plants during the flowering stage or even 1 week before you begin this stage.
